Nick Payne is one of the most widely performed English-language authors in the world. And Barcelona is no exception. We have been able to see different plays written by him at the main theatres in the city. One of his first plays, If There Is, I haven’t Found it Yet, could be seen at the Sala Beckett in 2013, directed by the playwright and director Marilia Samper. Now we want to bring the two of them together to talk about writing for the stage, success and failure, and why one chooses (or not) to direct one’s own plays.
The Dialogues Series aims to bring together two artists united by complicity and mutual admiration to talk about theatre, artistic creation or any other topic chosen by the artists themselves.
