Cristina Clemente

(Barcelona, 1977)

She trained at the Institut del Teatre de Barcelona and at the Sala Beckett. As a playwright, she has premiered: Paradise Band (Teatre Lliure, 2007), Marc i Paula (Institut del Teatre and Obrador de la Sala Beckett, 2008), Zèppelin (lectura dramatitzada, Sala Beckett, 2008), Volem anar al Tibidabo (Versus Teatre, 2009. Premi Revelació de la Crítica de Barcelona), La gran nit de Lurdes G, -written and co-directed with Josep Maria Miró, (Certificate of Merit of Lluís Solà Award 2008. Versus Teatre, 2009)La millor obra del teatre català (La Cuina, dins el Festival Grec 2009), Vimbodí vs Praga (TNC, 2010), Nit de Radio 2.0 (Sala Flyhard and La Villarroel, 2010), La nostra Champions particular (Teatre Gaudí, 2012), Consell familiar (Sala Beckett, 2013), Ventura (Temporada Alta, 2015), Les Clinck (Sala Beckett, 2019), Lapònia (Club Capitol, 2019) and Andrea pixelada (Sala Beckett and El Pavón Teatro Kamikaze, 2019).

In 2018 She won the Tournament of dramaturgy of Temporada Alta with the play Les ulleres de mirar carregadors.

She has co-written the script of the film Eva. She has also worked as a scriptwriter in the series: El cor de la ciutatLa Riera, Sin identidad and Com si fos ahir.

Playwright trained at the Obrador de la Sala Beckett, where she has taken part in numerous workshops and seminars.
