Eurodram

Eurodram is a European network made up of more than 30 committees of languages spoken in Europe, Central Asia and the Mediterranean (with and without a state) that aims to promote theatrical translations in order to make them available to professionals and the general public.

Eurodram operates on a biannual basis. In even-numbered years, each committee chooses 3 plays originally written in the committee’s language and recommends them to be translated into the rest of the European languages. In odd-numbered years, on the other hand, the committees select 3 translations of works translated into each committee’s language, with the aim of promoting their publication and/or representation.

The selection is made from those works premiered, published, and awarded in the previous two seasons, but anyone who wants one of their texts to be taken into consideration can submit the text to obrador@salabeckett.cat with the subject Eurodram.
