In this Obrador d’estiu, the Sala Beckett is presenting the staged reading of three important plays from new Spanish playwriting: Una vida americana by Lucía Carballal, El mal de la piedra by Blanca Doménech and Héroes en diciembre by Eva Mir. We will be taking advantage of this opportunity to talk with the three authors about their careers, the current state of Spanish playwriting, and the connection between Madrid and Barcelona.
